The Ithaca College London Center is located in South Kensington (Central London). Walt Disney & Co.'s office (ESPN America is owned by Disney) is located in Hammersmith, a London borough west of South Kensington. Also located in Hammersmith are the offices of Coca-Cola, L'Oreal, Sony Ericsson, World Wrestling Entertainment, and AOL UK. Rumor has it Lily Allen (singer), Hugh Grant (actor), Sacha Baron Cohen (comedian/actor) have lived in or currently live in Hammersmith. You can read more about ESPN America here.

In addition to my internship, I'm taking one class (Minorities in the UK) and two independent studies (Evolution of Sport Media in the UK and Sports in the UK). Minorities in the UK is about... minorities in the UK. For the Evolution class, I'll be focusing on how the media follows/reports/delivers UK sports and comparing it to the US. I'll be attending sporting events and comparing them to US sports for the Sports in the UK independent study. Wooo!
